Itinerary At A Glance

28/09 Sat. Meet Lisbon airport 5pm. Arrivals terminal. Drive to Cascais 30min. Night at Grande Real Vila Italia.

29/09 Sun (Day 1) Start off the day with a late breakfast before 18 holes at Penha Longa golf resort. Non playing companion (NPC) have a guided tour of Estoril, Sintra & Cascais. Visit to Cabo da Roca, mainland Europe’s most westerly point. Dinner at “O Fernando,” a local fish restaurant. 2nd night at GRVI.

30/09 Mon (Day 2) Casual morning drive to Setubal (45mins), before a quick ferry ride crossing to Troia. 18 holes at Troia golf course. Dinner in Canal Caveiro for “Cozido A Portuguesa,” a traditional meat dish. NPC: Beach day at Troia or relaxation at Troia Golf Resort. Drive to Algarve (2hrs). 1st night at Tivoli Marine Hotel (TMH).

01/10 Tues (Day 3) Free day full of beaches, golf, spa, or just relaxation. Dinner at “Don Alfonso” Restaurant on the Vilamoura Marina. 2nd night at the TMH.

02/10 Wed (Day 4) Golf at Quinta do Lago South Course, the host of over twenty European Tour tournaments. Dinner at “O Jacinto” local seafood and fish restaurant. NPC Explore Vilamoura & Quarteira. 3rd night at TMH.

03/10 Thur (Day 5) Golf at Monte Rei Golf Course, a Jack Nicklaus design. NPC have a guided tour of region. Dinner at “A Ver Tavira” next to the centuries old castle walls with spectacular views of the old city. 4th night at TMH.

04/10 Fri (Day 6) Sight seeing trip to Sagres, Europe’s westernly most point before lunch at “Rei dos Frangos” for Piri-Piri chicken. Free evening, 5th night at TMH.

05/10 Sat (Day 7) Round at Amendoeira Faldo Golf Course. NPC Exploring Algarve coastal caves. Dinner at Fairways restaurant for famous “Cataplana” dishes, 6th night at TMH.

06/10 (Sun-Day 8) Golf at San Lorenzo golf course, second highest rated course in Europe. NPC companion, trip to Algarve forum shopping center, exploring Faro. Sunset dinner at “Gomes Na Praia” on the beach, famous for “Arroz de Marisco”. 7th night at TMH.

07/10 (Mon-Day 9) Drive to Fatima (2h30m). Sight seeing of Sanctuary. Lunch at “Barraida” for famous traditional “pork suckling” meal. Continue onto Porto (1h30m). One night at Mercure hotel which is attached to shopping centre with a port wine theme.

08/10 (Tues-Day 10) Port wine manufactures tour, river cruise thru the city of Porto. Lunch on the river “Douro” for “Bacalhao (cod fish)” prepared in numerous ways. Afternoon tour of Porto’s castles, famous Lelo book store, train station tiles etc. Drive to Ponte De Lime (45min), before enjoying a free evening and the first night at Axis Ponte De Lime Golf Resort (APDLGR).

09/10 (Wed-Day 11) Play at Ponte De Lima GC, that was designed and constructed by Daniel Silva. NPC Morning off, meet for lunch at the golf course for a traditional northern Portugal meal. Afternoon tour of Ponte De Lima and Viana Do Castelo. Evening dinner at Ponte De Lima riverside restaurant. Second night at APDLGR.

10/10 (Thur-Day 12) 18 holes at Estela Golf Club, a links style course. NPC Tour of Povoa De Vazim. Lunch at “O Gosi,” a seaside restaurant. Drive to Lisbon (2h45m), first night at Myriad by Sana Hotel (MSH).

11/10 (Fri–Day 13) Lisbon sight seeing day. Lunch in “Alfama” the oldest area of Lisbon with the narrow cobblestone streets. 2nd night MSH.

12/10 (Sat-Day 14) Play at Aroeira Golf Resort. NPC Day off, evening soccer match, dinner at “Portugalia” a famous steak house for “bife a Portuguesa.” 3rd evening at MSH
